Patient-Specific Design Of Implants

In its present form, the conventional internal fixation plate for trauma is hard to immediately adapt to the patient’s bone surface due to its specification. For this reason, orthopaedic surgeons bend the plate several times during an operation. By contrast, KAVILAB’s highly efficient PSI allows for surgery (including complex trauma) without the need for additional manipulations. Made with a high-intensity titanium, the PSI can provide strong support ability as well as few foreign body sensations.
